The beauty of fall colors are all around us this time of year. With a late September wedding celebration, the bride knew a rustic theme with beautiful fall colors would be perfect to welcome her guests. We were able to use a bountiful array of flowers bursting with deep reds, oranges, and yellows. Finding the most beautiful yellow, orange, and red sunflowers had us falling in love too.
In lieu of a traditional sign-in, guests used a Polaroid to capture their attendance and share well wishes directly on the photo. It was so fun to see the pictures right then and there. In this digital age, there is still something so special about printed photos. The couple had an instant photobook that they can display long after the celebration.
The bride wanted her guests to be active participants in the celebration. The DJ rocked the house to get everyone on the dance floor. She also wanted her guests to be active participants in the desserts. The DIY cupcake bar was a hit with guests enjoying more than one and taking pictures of their creations. Guests chose their cupcake flavor(s): vanilla, red velvet, or chocolate fudge. The icing station included vanilla buttercream, cream cheese, and Oreo cream frosting. Family and friends really showed their creativity mixing up the variety of sweet toppings.
