Disco donuts baby! Sing it with me. This one was a whole lot of fun. A 10 year old may not know a whole lot about the 70’s but lucky for her we sure do. Plus music transcends generations, right? Never too old or young for a dance party. Our goal was to bring glitz and glam to the dance party with lots of sparkle. Sparkling pink and gold were blended with disco elements like the pink fringe around the cake stand and the dangling disco curtain backdrop. Can’t have a disco theme with a disco ball. The disco ball was incorporated in the decor through the desserts with the 2D gold disco ball cookies and cupcake toppers.
Let the music play…oh, that’s the way (uh-huh uh-huh) I like it (uh-huh uh-huh). Check out the dessert spread. We found out the honoree loves donuts so we put a fun twist on a donut bar. How about raspberry pudding cups? No spoon required. Dipping donuts. Is that a thing? If not, it should be.
