Secret Agent Spy Birthday Mission

March 5, 2020 | Leave a Comment

Such a fun day for my son and his friends. He is one cool inquisitive kid. He loves to build and figure out what makes things tic. As a secret agent he gets to dress as cool as he is, solve a mystery, and build a robot for his birthday. Becoming a secret agent spy for a day sure was a fun birthday adventure.

We worked with Idea Lab Kids of Smyrna, which is a fun new STEAM enrichment studio. Their team helped us craft the most innovative and creative party. The studio incorporates the latest technology. Activities they offer include culinary arts, science experiments, robotics, coding, drone aviation, movie production, 3D printing and more.  Want to have a princess party and build the castle, then this is the perfect place. Have a scientist in the making, then why not include creating glow in the dark tornados as the activity for the party.  The team at Idea Lab are great at creating unique custom STEAM based entertainment for birthday parties.

For entertainment at our party, the kids acted as agents to solve clues to find all the lego robotic pieces needed to build the robot.  The clues led them to various rooms in the studio. The clues were so creative. One of the mystery clues could only be found in the dark when it glows, so cool. Once the teams collected all the pieces they returned to the robotics lab/agent training room to build and then write code to program the robots.

For decor, we changed up the traditional red and black by adding a pop of turquoise. Love the color combination and I think it makes it more youthful. Custom details like the honoree’s age and custom name badges for guests are the type of details that make decorating a memorable experience.

The agent toolkits were the party favors.  Once the mission was complete, the agents gained access to the goodies inside which included a pair of shades, a mustache disguise, magnifying glass, an invisible pen and a bag of the birthday boy’s favorite treat – chocolate chip cookies.

After the elite secret agents received their code names and badges, they celebrated with treats. The honoree chose all code names for his fellow agents. Code names like knight hawk, karate kid, sparkle, python, lollipop, Phoenix, and agent zero were well received by his friends.

Since the birthday boy’s favorite dessert is chocolate chip cookies. His cake was a deep dish cookie. Agents also enjoyed decorated cookies, cotton candy, cupcakes, and rock candy.

These kiddos sure had a lot of fun. With so many fun party themes at Idea lab kids, we can come back again and again to have them host our clients kid birthday parties.

Mission complete!
