What can separate your conference from the typical hotel hosted conference? A unique themed design. A branded design for an event provides your attendees with a more connected experience to your vision.
We created a design for the Global Supplier Diversity conference led my Monica McCoy of monicamotivates.com . The Global Supplier Diversity Conference (GSDC) helps minority suppliers pursue, win and successfully maintain corporate contracts. The full-day conference is designed to increase the number of successful minority-owned, woman-owned and other disadvantaged small business suppliers.
From the moment I saw the logo for the conference, I knew we would use unexpected colors for the inaugural conference. Sharing a few design highlights from the days’s conference.
Admittedly, we have a thing for surprising guests with treats at any event we do. We added bags of purple grape cotton candy at each place settings for all attendees. Who hasn’t been at a meeting or conference and needed a boost. The cotton candy was a fun and unexpected addition especially for a corporate event.
In addition to event design and planning, we also provided event management services for the day of coordination. During the conference CBS46 news joined us to cover the conference emceed by Karyn Greer. I had the opportunity to share my thoughts on the value of the conference in helping minority owned business to secure those important strategic partnership needed for growth. Highlights are in the following news clip.
Following the day long conference, attendees were greeted by a room flip for the dessert reception. The custom built round dessert display mirrored the GSDC brand logo. A round acrylic version of the conference logo graced the center of the dessert table. The cascading yellow ombre backdrop for the book signing area was one of my favorite design elements.
