There is just something about a little girl in a tutu and crown that just warms your heart and makes you smile. Add in a cute bow and sparkly shoes and it is almost too much cuteness to handle. Our little princess has the sweetest smile and the most adorable cheeks. Of course we had to give her the best princess party ever.
The chance to combine feathers, crowns, pink, and gold into one party gets us really excited. Designing a princess theme first birthday with lots of cute girly details is always fun. Once the venue was chosen with a pool, we just knew we had to add swans to make it even more adorable. Guests were greeted by a precious little swan with a gold crown and feathers.
The pool can be extremely inviting, however this was not going to be a pool party. We instead chose to use it as a design element. The honoree’s name in gigantic letters across the pool made for quite the wow factor. Amazing! These are the special touches that create sensual experiences for guests. Our teepee area was the perfect cozy spot for the kiddos. Not only was it the perfect photo spot; it also served as a rest area for the young ones that needed an escape from all the excitement. At one point during the party, I glanced over and noticed the pillows were piled on top of each other. Upon closer observation, I found a little one asleep with pillows covering her up. It was such an “ahhh” moment. The plush rug and pillows were just too inviting not to stay awhile.
We are still in love with the kids table. Each place setting had a gold and white leaf square plate and gold glittered utensils. We also added sweet and soft mini marshmallows packaged in clear containers wrapped in feathers as an extra treat. Aren’t these floral arrangements so pretty?
Let’s talk about the sweets table and all the other treats designed for the royal affair. The balloon garland provided a soft background without blocking the pool area. The gold accents on the cookies matched the theme perfectly. The gold rosette outlined watercolor cookies were almost too pretty to eat.
There was lots of fun entertainment for the kids. Oh my goodness, the smiles on the kids faces as they rode the ponies brought such joy for us. They were also greeted by the most awesome grown-up princess that kept them dancing and singing. It was fun watching as the guests attacked her for the balloon swords and princess wands.
