Who doesn’t want to feel like a rock star at their own party? The honoree definitely had her moment to shine in the spotlight, both on the stage and on the red carpet.
Even 10 year olds can feel like they are grown enough to hang out at the club. This hip hop dance party was all the way live complete with a red carpet experience, live DJ and the hottest venue in the city – Knock Music House. Plus, the 2 MC’s for the night kept the party going with their funky dance moves.
This party was hype from the moment guests entered the door. The DJ was on point! Even the parents made their way to the dance floor during the party.
The kids were taught a few moves and then had a chance to perform them on stage. One of the fun moments from the night happened when the parents were instructed to join the MC on stage. The parents schooled the young folks on some old school moves and later had a dance off – young vs old. The youngsters did not hold back and neither did the parents.
When designing the dessert table I wanted it to be colorful and fun with a graffiti vibe. The overall design is clean and modern. We included some of the honoree’s favorites like cotton candy and rice krispy treats.
Slime is all the rage with the youngsters and the slime party favors were a hit. They were personally mixed by the birthday girl herself. Her Mom told us that she had to purchase special containers for her daughter’s room to store all the slime she has created since becoming obsessed with slime making.
