Romantic Outdoor Wedding Dessert Table Inspiration

May 18, 2016 | Leave a Comment

KelleyKPhotography-2640 Planning a summer wedding? Thinking of having an outdoor wedding or reception? Set amongst the trees with a serene backdrop is a dessert table filled with sweet treats that are just as beautiful to look at as they are to taste. This romantic dessert table designed with a color palette of peach, coral, and soft pinks is a lovely and sweet way to say thank you to your guests.KelleyKPhotography-2601

Instead of fondant, a natural cake and a buttercream cake by Pum’s Sweets were among the dessert options to complement the natural outdoor setting. Fresh florals were added to both cakes as well. The floral arrangements were a mix of peonies, ranunculus, carnations, David Austin Garden Roses, spray roses, lisianthus, spider mums and dusty miller. We love that the cake pops highlight the floral details too in shades of pink, peach, and coral and dusted with gold to make them sparkle.KelleyKPhotography-2437 KelleyKPhotography-2673-2 KelleyKPhotography-2555-2 KelleyKPhotography-2499-2 KelleyKPhotography-2488-2 KelleyKPhotography-2434

Mercury and gold metallics were used in the decor to add a bit of elegance. The marble platters trimmed in gold foil were used with and without the dome to add visual interest and detail. The mirrored gold trays were used to display the darling cake pops and shimmering madeleines. A personal touch was added with the gold metal letters representing the bride and groom. White chocolate pudding shot glasses were trimmed in edible gold and topped with pearls like the pearls in the center of the napkin rings used as part of the stand. The french macarons were dusted with gold too. Anchoring the dessert table was a sheer knotted patterned champaign overlay used in combination with a peach satin tablecloth.
